Hey guys! Today I’m going to be sharing my favorite book series! I should have posted this earlier, but I’m lazy and procrastinated doing it until now. #relatable? I’ve done a favorite books blog post and a mid-year favorite books of 2018 blog post, so if you’re interested feel free to check those out! Anyway, let’s get into my favorite book series of all time!

1. A Court Of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

I feel like I don’t talk about how much I love SJM enough. She is my favorite author of all time, and I really like her Throne of Glass series as well, but I haven’t finished it yet so it won’t be making an appearance on this list. This book follows faeries, and faeries are my favorite thing to read about in fantasy. I was in a reading slump when I read these books, and I devoured them! A Court of Mist and Fury is my favorite book in the series.

2. An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

I read this series in February, and I have been obsessed since! It’s really nice to see other ethnicities represented in YA, especially in such a widely popular series. A Reaper at The Gates is my favorite in the series, and I cannot wait for the final one, and I can’t wait to see what else Sabaa has up her sleeve!

3. The Illluminae Files by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

There, I said it. This is one of the most unique books I’ve ever read, and I would kill for something similar.

4. Nevermoor: The Trials Of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend

This is such a fun middle-grade book, and the sequel comes out in November, so I highly recommend all of you check it out!

5. Children Of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

This has probably been the most hyped up release of 2018, and it lived up to that and more. It is a beautiful story of people with magic striving to take back what they have lost and break free from their oppressors. I’m sure you’ve read this by now, and if you haven’t, please read it before the year is over.

6. Caraval by Stephanie Garber

This series has my dream characters. I’m a writer, and these are the characters I wish to write. Here’s a quote from my review on both books.

“The characters are my dream characters, and I wish I had created them. They have the perfect amount of good and bad, and even the villains are morally gray characters. They have a soft side but also have a dark side.”

7. The Cruel prince by Holly Black

My review for this and Caraval is very similar. This is one of my favorite relationships that I’ve ever read, and I’m so excited (like more than you can imagine) for the sequel that’s coming out in January. I’ve read a few reviews that are saying that Holly is going to destroy your heart, so I’m lowkey also really scared, but as a reader, I’ve fortified my heart (or at least I hope so because I don’t know if I am actually ready for this book)

That’s it! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog post. Please leave a comment so I can show my appreciation. Hope you have/had a good day!
