BOOK BLOG NEWBIE TAG

Hey guys! For the first time ever I’m going to be doing a book tag, and I thought it would be appropriate to start with this one! I believe it was originally created by Love and Other Bookish Things, but the blog doesn’t exist anymore. I found this tag through The Book Mermaid. Anyway, let’s get right into it!

1 – Why did you start this blog?

So, here’s the story. I got an email from a publicist asking me if I was interested in reading a book, and in the email, she had a sign-up link for the blog tour. At this point, I’d just tried making YouTube videos, but it wasn’t for me, and so I decided to create a blog and see how it went. Obviously, I’m still here so it’s going great!

2- What are some fun and unique things you can bring to book blogging?

Here on my blog, I don’t only talk about books. I talk about all types of young adult media, which is something I’ve never seen before.

3 – What are you most excited for about this new blog?

I’m excited about so many things. I’m talking about what I love, and I’m getting to develop my writing style in a different way. For those of you that are new, I’m a fiction writer as well.

4 – Why do you love reading?

I can’t really explain it, but I just do.

5 – What book or series got you into reading?

I started reading when I was very young, so I have no idea. The first books I remember loving was Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series.

6 – What questions would you ask your favorite authors?

How they stayed motivated when they weren’t published because that’s something that I’m struggling with right now.

7 – What challenges do you think starting a blog will be the hardest to overcome?

Being able to balance life. I do a lot of things and I don’t want to put my blog on the back burner.

8 – When did you start reading?

A long time ago.

9 – Where do you read?

Anywhere because I mostly read e-books.

10 – What kind of books do you like to read?

My two favorite genres are young adult fantasy and contemporary romance, but I’ll read just about anything in the young adult spectrum.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog post! Please leave a comment so I can show my appreciation! Hope you have/had a good day!
