CLASSICS | TBR

I’m going to be a junior in high school in the fall, and I’m taking AP English 3. So, I decided to get a head start on the reading. These are some classics that I’ve wanted to read for a while, and I’m finally getting to them. Until the end of August, I will be alternating between a classic and a YA book. Let me know if you guys are interested in knowing what else I’ll be reading. I’d be happy to do a blog post.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

The Catcher in the Rye by J D Salinger

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

The Great Gatsby by Scott F Fitzgerald

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

The God Of Small Things by Arundhati Roy (so excited to read a book from an Indian author!)

Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut

Animal Farm by George Orwell (I read 1984 in school this year, and it was okay)

The Picture of Dorian Gray

If You Come Softly by Jacqueline Woodson

Finnikin Of The Rock by Melina Marchetta

Some of these might not be classics, but I’m putting them on this list and reading them regardless. I also know that this is a big TBR, (or maybe it’s not) but I like challenging myself. If you want to keep up with what I’m reading, follow me on social media! Let me know if you liked this post and what you want to see from me in the future. Hope you have/had a good day!
